My involvement in most new machines is that they are complete trash. I have a Maytag french entryway fridge that began having issues following one year of procurement. It wasn't cooling as expected and everything in the cooler was dissolving. It was under guarantee, fortunately. Sadly, the maintenance organization that overhauled the guarantee was totally inept. They first misdiagnosed the issue, after a few visits figured out how to break the blower, polluted the lines and the supplanted blower fizzled. It was a bad dream and Maytag wouldn't supplant the fridge. It worked OK for a year after blower #3. After a year the ice creator had an electrical burnout. The thing was additionally scarcely cooling. After I supplanted the whole ice creator, it worked for some time and afterward quit unloading ice, so it would take care of water up and over and flood. The " ICEMAKER OFF" electronic button didn't turn it off. At any rate - presently it has returned to not cooling, the cooler things are delicate and it appears time to purchase another one. It's just 6.5 years old now! Would anyone be able to vouch for a brand of "Fridge Repairs" today? I anticipated that several thousand dollar fridges should endure in excess of a couple of years...
